Commonly known as Asian pigeonwings, bluebellvine, blue pea, butterfly pea, cordofan pea or Darwin pea is a plant species belonging to the family Fabaceae, endemic and native to the Indonesian island of Ternate. In India, it is revered as a holy flower, used in daily puja rituals.

Mix with acid water is purple, mix with alkaline water appears blue, ideal natural food colorant. Great for mixing into your favorite drinks, foods, anything baked! Used as a blue additive in dishes, cakes and cocktails. Great for any wedding, birthday or holiday!
